Elena is an actor, director, choreographer and dancer.

From 1989-1993, she was a leading actress at the Academie Puskin Drama Theatre at Pskov.  She was then invited to join the Academie Drama Theatre, Kostrama, where she worked as an actress and choreographer. From 1994-2000, she was employed by the Pruit Komedianta Theatre in St. Petersburg.

  
In 1991 she was voted Best Actress of the Year by the Moscow Acting Association for her role in “Relatives” a contemporary Russian play. 
 

Favorite roles include Eliza Doolittle in “Pygmalion”; Katherine in “The Taming of the Shrew”; Nina in “The Seagull”; Sophia in “Woe From Wit” and Maria Antonovna in “The Government Inspector”.  
 

Elena began her directing career in Russia with classics like “The Seagull” and “The Bear.” Recent London directing credits include “Uncle Vanya” and “Miss Julie”. She has also directed numerous production at London Center for Theatre Studies, including “The Three Sisters” and “A Doll’s House.”  
 

She studied acting and directing at the The School of Acting, Nizniy Novgorod (Gorky), a branch of the Moscow Arts Theatre Academy of Theatre and Cinema, where she received her MA in 1989. 
 

She currently works as Guest Director at the Academy of the Science of Acting and Directing (ASAD).
